Motion Restoration Therapy.

IN EVANS, GA

Customized Manual Therapy and Mobility Treatment Built Around Your Body.

At the FX Performance Center, Motion Restoration Therapy is a clinically guided therapy designed to restore efficient, pain-free movement by addressing soft tissue and joint restrictions that cannot be effectively corrected through self-stretching alone. Through a combination of skilled manual therapy, joint mobilization, and clinician-directed stretching, we target limitations in mobility, reduce pain, and improve functional movement for both daily activities and performance demands.

Each session begins with a focused clinical assessment to identify the specific tissues, joints, and movement patterns contributing to restricted motion. Whether you are dealing with post-injury stiffness, chronic muscle tension, or movement asymmetry, our approach is individualized and medically guided to correct dysfunction at its source. This allows us to apply precise techniques and positioning that are difficult to replicate independently.

Unlike corporate stretch programs that apply standardized routines, Motion Restoration Therapy at FX Performance Center is fully customized to your presentation. No two sessions are identical. We adapt techniques, intensity, and progression based on your response, biomechanics, and goals, resulting in improved mobility, better alignment, and lasting changes that improve mobility, accelerate recovery, and support long-term performance and durability.

HOW IT WORKS.

FUNCTIONAL EVALUATION

Your journey begins with a complete Functional Evaluation, a comprehensive assessment designed to uncover dysfunctions in strength, mobility, and neuromuscular control. This clinically driven session, often covered by insurance, focuses on identifying the true sources of pain and performance limitation so we can target underlying issues, not just symptoms.

We utilize advanced technology, including Kinotek LiDAR markerless motion capture, to perform objective movement screenings and analyze biomechanics in real time. This is combined with a detailed physical examination to assess functional capacity, joint mobility, and movement quality. We also perform targeted strength testing, balance assessments, and neuromotor function evaluations to identify deficits in stability, coordination, and control. The result is a comprehensive, data-driven baseline that guides a personalized plan designed to restore function, improve resilience, and enhance performance.

Targeted Manual Therapy

During your session, your clinician applies advanced manual therapy and precision-based stretching techniques to address soft tissue restrictions, improve joint mobility, and restore efficient alignment. Treatment may include passive stretching, active-assisted stretching, PNF techniques, resisted stretching, and targeted myofascial release, all selected based on your specific presentation. These interventions allow us to access tissues and movement ranges that are difficult to address independently, helping to reduce tension, decrease discomfort, and restore smooth, pain-free motion while improving overall movement quality.

Corrective Integration

Once mobility is restored, your clinician strategically integrates corrective exercise to reinforce optimal movement patterns and improve neuromuscular control. This phase focuses on building strength and stability within your newly acquired range of motion, ensuring that mobility gains translate into functional, repeatable movement. By progressively loading these patterns, we enhance joint support, improve coordination, and reduce the likelihood of pain returning.
